Barbour Fork Trailhead is located south of Idaho Spring and offers a small network of roads for OHV opportunities. The road crosses through aspen and mixed conifer. Mountain biking and dispersed camping is also popular.
Note: The area is closed to motorized vehicles from December 15 to June 16 to minimize disturbances during the elk calving season. For more information, please visit:

Peru Gulch is located just outside of Montezuma Colorado. The area is open all year round, but is only open to cross-country skiing and snowshoeing during the winter months. The rest of the year, this is a system of pretty easy trails (except for Chihuahua Gulch) that most vehicles won’t have any troubles on. The area features numerous old mines and buildings to see and explore. In this area, you can explore Peru Gulch, Cinnamon Gulch, Warden Gulch, and Cinnamon Gulch

We were out wheeling on China Wall and the front left U-Joint just exploded! Do we fix it or go for an upgrade?
Many thanks to the guys at The Edge 4×4 Automotive!!
We get asked all the time about how we find new off-road and 4×4 trails. While we use a number of different sources, our favorite is the Trails Off-Road website and mobile app.
