Soldier Pass is a a fun, low-moderate trail near Sedona Arizona. A permit is required to run this trail and is available from http://recreation.gov. The trail also features great hiking trails and is quite popular most of the year.

Last year, we had a “misadventure” at Smiley Rock trail in Arizona. We started late and it was pitch dark as we finished up late into the night. We returned this year with a much better plan…..we hope.
