Is the closest trail to Denver worth it? Barbour Fork – Idaho Springs

Barbour Fork Trailhead is located south of Idaho Spring and offers a small network of roads for OHV opportunities. The road crosses through aspen and mixed conifer. Mountain biking and dispersed camping is also popular.

Note: The area is closed to motorized vehicles from December 15 to June 16 to minimize disturbances during the elk calving season. For more information, please visit:
