Did you have to pay for your film permits or is this one of the areas where the film staff said no permit required since it was with in normal use of the park?
I will say that the Canyonlands NP film department is really easy to work with. We discussed what we wanted to do, where we were going to be, etc. In the end, they decided that we did not need to go through the permit process. I think they felt that it was good for them and not just a commercial project for us.
