The Ironclads Trail in Allenspark, Colorado is a must-do for adventure seekers! This 2.38-mile trail, just off of Bunce School Road, is rated as moderate to difficult, and it is suitable for four-wheel drive vehicles only. The trail features a variety of terrain, including dirt, rocks, and mud. There are several scenic overlooks along the trail, which offer stunning views of the Rocky Mountains.

Here are some of the things you can expect on the Ironclads Trail:

Wheeling Through History On Bunce School Road: A Look At The T-33 Crash Site

Bunce School Road is an easy trail located in the Indian Peaks Wilderness near Ward, Colorado. The trail is about 5 miles long and takes about an hour to complete. As side trip, the T-33 trail is rated as difficult and requires a high-clearance 4×4 vehicle.

The highlight of the trail is the T-33 jet crash site. In 1965, a T-33 jet trainer crashed on Bunce School Road. The crash site is still visible today and is a popular spot for off-road enthusiasts.

In addition to the T-33 crash site, Bunce School Road also offers stunning views of the Indian Peaks Wilderness. The trail passes through a variety of terrain, including forests, meadows, and rocky outcrops.

If you are looking for a challenging 4×4 trail with a bit of history, then Bunce School Road is the perfect trail for you.

Here are some tips for visiting Bunce School Road:

Make sure you have a high-clearance 4×4 vehicle. The trail is rated as difficult and requires a vehicle that can handle rough terrain.
Bring plenty of food and water. There are no services along the trail.
Be prepared for all weather conditions. The weather in the mountains can change quickly.

Day Canyon Point is a popular Jeep 4×4 trail in Moab, Utah. The trail is about 10 miles long (out and back) and offers stunning views of the surrounding desert landscape.
