On March 23, 2022, the FCC released the effective date of the new application fee rates for the Wireless Telecommunications Bureau, stating “This Public Notice announces that the new application fee rates for the Wireless Telecommunications Bureau, codified at 47 CFR § 1.1102, will become effective on April 19, 2022.”

Slaughterhouse Gulch is located near Baily Colorado and is generally open from May to Dec 31st. With a mid-moderate rating in good conditions, we went to see how it was after a light snow.

Pennsylvania Gulch is a moderate trail that goes from Sunset Colorado (about half-way through Switzerland trail if you want to go from one end of the trail or the other. While it is a fairly short trail, and not very hard in good conditions, things can get a bit tricky in the snow.

Caribou Creek PHV area is located just north of Nederland Colorado. The trail features a water crossing, forest trails, and great scenery. After a recent snow, we headed over to see what some snow wheeling would be like there.

Rollins Pass is located just outside of Nederland Colorado and is a high mountain trail. Normally, this trail is more of a dirt road and is easily passable by most any vehicle with decent ground clearance….but….in the snow, its a whole difference ballgame!

Switzerland Trail is an easy trail located just outside of Nederland Colorado. While not a difficult trail, the views are incredible. I highly recommend hitting this trail up any time of year, but in the snow, be sure you have proper recovery gear as big snow drifts are fairly common after a big snow.
