Mount Saxon Georgetown Colorado – Moderate Trail

Ranking as a low-moderate trail, Mount Saxon offers stunning views and steep shelf roads. Online sources rate it as Hard, but since the landslides have been cleared, it’s pretty easy going. We highly recommend this trail for any 4×4 with high clearance and recommend taking the Cascade Creek trail back down for additional scenery and a different view.

We take a Grand Cherokee on Devils Canyon!!

Devil’s Canyon is a fairly easy trail outside of Idaho Springs Colorado. We invited a friend with a Cherokee Trailhawk along to see what his new ride could do. This is a really beautiful trail with stunning views. Easy, but highly recommended.

Argentine Pass OHV Trail – Easy Jeep Trail

Argentine Pass, elevation 13,207 ft (4,025 m), is a high mountain pass that crosses the Continental Divide in the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains of central Colorado in the United States. Argentine Pass is located on the crest of the Front Range along the boundary southwest of Georgetown and is the highest named vehicle-accessible pass in the state. The trail is fairly easy for any 4WD vehicle with high ground clearance.

BTECH GMRS-50X1 Radio Setup

The GMRS-50X1 is a 50 Watt GMRS walkie talkie mobile radio compatible with all brands of FRS and GMRS radios. It is also compatible with GMRS repeaters. Channels are wideband and narrowband compatible. The GMRS-50X1 is also a VHF and UHF scanning receiver capable to add additional channels for receive only (such as NOAA weather and other channels of interest). In this video, I go over how to set it up and some of the options that are available.

Spring Creek OHV Trail, Dumont Colorado

We hit up Spring Creek outside of Georgetown Colorado for one of the hardest Jeep trails in Colorado. Don’t do this unless you are prepared to break something or potentially take some damage. Big tires, a lift, and lockers are HIGHLY recommended.

Barbour Forks OHV Trail – Idaho Springs Colorado

Barbour Forks OHV Trail is located just outside of Idaho Springs Colorado and is a low-mid moderate trail. High ground clearance and 4WD is needed but any stock Jeep shouldn’t have any issues getting through it.
