Solving storage issues has been a big issue for me as I have tried several different things that just didn’t work out. With also wanting to add a DeepSleep mattress, I need to make sure the cargo area is as clear as possible while providing enough space for the things I need to have inside the Jeep at night.

There are two ways to get up to Bill Moore Lake, today we went up the Empire Loop side which proved to be a lot of fun, had some good challenges, and some great sites and views. This is a moderate difficulty trail due to the narrow and rocky terrain. Expect to get some minor pinstripes when doing this trail.

Yankee Hill OHV Trail starts just outside of Central City Colorado and exits near Idaho Springs. This is a good beginner trail as there are no hard obstacles. Any stock Jeep or basic 4×4 will be able to complete this trail….when there is no snow on the ground.

It’s hard to beat the satisfaction of doing some of your own maintenance on your vehicle. In this video, we show you have to change the air filter on a Jeep JL 3.6L engine. This is an extremely easy process and should take less than 5 minutes.

Jeep JL backup lights are horribly underpowered, even with the LED lighting package. To solve this, I made a custom hitch cover with spots to mount some rocklights. The lights were then wired into the Jeep’s AUX switches.
